My Design Responsibilities
As the Marketing Department Team Lead at ZE, a subsidiary of ZE PowerGroup based in Richmond, BC, I held the key responsibility for overseeing the marketing materials. ZE Power Engineering, established in 2004, is renowned for providing comprehensive services to the Canadian electrical utility industry, including transmission, substation, distribution, and project management. In my role, I was tasked with ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of a range of marketing materials, aligning with the company's commitment to excellence and service in the utility sector.

My Design Responsibilities
I created complex RFPs using Adobe inDesign. Firstly, I created the template that served as the backbone of these documents which were produced every six to eight weeks. These open request for bids to complete a new project proposed by ZE were made aesthetically pleasing by using related vector art between sections and appendixes. These editorial layouts were met with success as they resulted in lucrative contracts.

Using Adobe inDesign, I created a glossy, print brochure giving a broad scope of functions. I created brochures that were intended to act as a detailed reference of the company. These brochure consisted of general information and were printed in mass quantities. I was responsible for maintaining the relationship with the printer as well as quality control. These brochures were also hosted on their corporate website as downloadable PDFs.

The creation of corporate assets were accompanied with business cards and print folders. The corporate stationary created a high-end feel to the accompany and presented an opportunity to bring new clients, spur ongoing relationships and ignite deeper interest in the company. For this particular print folder, a functioning graphic on the side that was a to-scale ruler and dissected the logo to create a branded graphic.
